Make It Shake was my Thursday AM teach. My students going toThe Vegas Explosion will be a calming force amongst the sea of frenzy that music creates. We are looking forward to being in Fred's class for Make It Shake for his 'stylin' tips!
The facebook buzz continues for JUST BE ...the 48/4 w/bridge by Fred Whitehouse and Darren Bailey to Paloma Faith's Just Be.
Stacy Garcia shares the list of dances (compiled by many) that were on the Main Ballroom floor @ Tampa Bay last weekend w/Louie and JP. MANY were done ALL 3 Nites.
I got my toes in the water, ass in the sand, Not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand, Life is good today. PBR on the way!

We had Friday, Saturday and Sunday socials here in the Bay Area on Halloween weekend. Whatever the students SEE that sits them on fire ...I will make sure to 'look' at! Playing all 3 socials: Amame (Sept 2008), Chicago Bonfire (Oct 2014), Heaven's Just a Sin Away (Jan 2013), L-O-V-E (Jan 2014), Oklahoma Wind (Jan 2008), Ring My Bells (May 2014), Say Geronimo (Aug 2014), Thankful (Feb 2014), and Wanna Be Contigo (May 2014).
At the Golden Gate Classic in 1998, I used a polaroid and scanned in the photos to use on LineDanceFun. Stephen Sunter's HOT dance of that year was Razor Sharp and it played at the CQS dance 11/1/2014! It was FUN for Me to remember that FAST dance.
(Bill Bader is Mr Cowgirls' Twist 1994 and Cindy Truelove is Ms My Girl Waltz 1998) Also on the weekend I got to remember Cannibal Stomp 1996 (Lisa Firth), Zydeco Lady 1990 (Chris Hookie) and George Davis' Arlene circa 1982! (The Arlene sheets, identical on both Kickit and Copperknob, are atrocious rewrites compared to the 'original' simply written sheet published p.15-16 in the 1996 Big Book of Country Western Line Dance. WOW, no such steps as Louie, Louie, Wooly Bully and Hitchhike w/long winded descriptions in the original)
Simon Ward's One Great Mystery was an INSTANT class hit this AM and I will reteach on Monday Nov 3rd! The moon and the stars were aligned for ME this Thursday AM...students just needed a fast walk of Ria Vos' Wonder Train which left way more time then needed to teach Will Craig's FIREBALL, also an instant hit and I will reteach on Monday November 3rd.
Class ended with Cheesecake; & One Great Mystery, which they remembered perfectly.
